Okay but not great

The mattresses were comfortable but we needed a blanket, not just a sheet and coverlet. The rooms were clean. No restaurants near the motel. When we went looking we got into a very questionable neighborhood. Only “snacks” for continental breakfast.

Lobby is closed so they'll talk to you thru a small window, NO breakfast but is advertised as continental breakfast, rooms are in poor condition, rusty lamp, broken sinks, poor water pressure, mattress is hard sleeping on the floor will be just about the same, they never returned my extra night for leaving a day earlier always ohh the manager is not here, ohh he's coming late always an excused, dont stay in this crack hole

Avoid Super 8 in Gloucester, NJ if you value housekeeping

I am a member of Wyndham Rewards, have stayed at other Super 8's, and was very satisfied. However, we were very disappointed in this motel. Room 278 was to be prepared for 2 guests per the reservation. There was one bath towel, one hand towel, no bath mat, no glasses, no spare toilet paper, no hangers, a shower curtain that keeps falling to the centre from the shower end, and two very thin pillows, (they need 4 if they are going to be thin). The manufacturer's plastic wrap on the chair legs was still in place, a sign of inattention to detail. The room was not serviced the second day, the desk clerk saying no one answered when the housekeeper knocked. In all other motels, the housekeeper then entered and serviced the room. There was no notice that the room is not serviced everyday.
On the positive side, the room as clean, the water was hot, the bed itself was comfortable, (except for the thin pillows), no bedbugs were detected, and the desk clerk readily supplied the missing bathroom items upon my request.
In short, housekeeping is inadequate. I strongly suggest a review of housekeeping practice. Being a discount motel is no excuse for the lack of it.

Upon arriving to check in at 9:30pm the room was not ready. I was told it was being cleaned and it would be a 5 minute wait, more like 30 minutes. A woman comes out to give me the key card. She than stated that its one of the new rooms and to not mess it up & please don't smoke. I told her we're only here to sleep! Once we got upstairs to the room the same woman was coming out of the room and as we were going in she stated again its a new room OKAY! I don't know what she thought we would do to it?! Anyway....The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Based on service I don't recommend this place and wouldn't stay there again.
