Nice Little Place

Driving to Laredo I needed to stop for the night and this place was in the perfect location. Although small and not a part of a chain hotel it was a great value for the price. Room was nice and was cleaner than expected considering the price. Nice flat screen TV and the bathroom was huge.

Reasonable Place to Stay in Devine

We stayed here for two nights.
The Good - If you need to stay in Devine or close by, this place works. Has necessary amenities, working cable TV, and nice outdoor area. The microwave and fridge are nice features. We did feel safe here too. AC worked just fine. Front desk people were nice and helpful. No iron in room, but they will loan you one.
The not-so-good - the place was a little dirty. My wife cleaned up the bathroom and sink area. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling where the bulb and fan were. When the shower was on in the room above us, water dripped through the ceiling. You can hear the cars on the highway continuously, but to be expected of an Inn that is right on the highway. You could hear anytime someone was walking in the room above you.
You cannot access the Inn via the access road. Found this out the hard way.
The price was just right and we did not want to stay further south or north so this was the perfect spot for us. We would stay here again.

Dont do it

It is was over priced $132 for two night. Rooms are very dated. Carpet probably hasn't been cleaned since it was put in. No smoke detector. Bath room is filthy, dirt build up on the floor sink and bath tub. Hair in the sink drain. The bed does not have a fitted sheet rather two flat sheets.

"Not Bad"...

Considering it's the only motel around, it's Certainly not as bad as I expected. The rooms are decent, and clean. The flat screen tv had a million channels. The bathroom was just ok. The rooms do have a microwave and refridgerator. Unfortunately, The pool looked unusable(water was brown). There's a good steakhouse next door for dinner, and there's fast food across the street. There's also a wal-mart nearby as well.

Stay only if you have no where else!

We were going to our friends deer lease so we stayed two nights here. Never again! The only good thing is location. And there's a gas station/Mc Donalds across the street and a Walmart. The rooms smell moldy. The shower had black nasty mold all around it. Dead roach on bathroom floor. Pillows so flat you might as well sleep on just the matress. There is a nice flat screen TV tho. There was a bug in my son's sheets (dead) smashed on the sheet. Beds are horrible too! India ppl run it. And looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for more pillows. Not friendly at all. So to sum it up this motel is way over priced for what you get. We paid $88 a night for this nasty room.
