Perfect hotel for traveling

The hotel is a little older and in a primarily business area, but the rooms are clean and the staff is fantastic. They have a restaurant and bar in the hotel lobby. The food is fantastic. The hotel is easy to access and parking is free. I highly recommend this hotel.

Keep your expectations low and you will be fine here.

When I arrived in the evening, the parking lot and exterior lights were completely dark. If it wasn’t for lights in the room, I would’ve thought the hotel was closed. Felt very unsafe. Fortunately my car was still in the parking lot in the morning and appeared to be unharmed.
I was here for a short stay, fortunately, and found this place to be very underwhelming. The bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked on occasion and this place seems like it needs a facelift.
The worst part was that I was leaving very early in the morning and wanted some coffee while I finished emails in the room. None was available until 6 AM and it was for purchase only. Forced me to run to the local gas station and , have some of their coffee. Yum! Lol.

Terrible beds

The hotel is very nice and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Our main issue was the bed in our room was awful. Hard as a rock and we both had back issues while we stayed. Too bad because otherwise, it's a very nice hotel. We did not try the cafe or pool

Track Team Experience

Ramona at the Bistro was by far 1 of thee BEST hostess/bartender/cook I've ever encountered. Very friendly & knows how to treat her customers. My track team stayed here for a few days & she & I got acquainted. I was truly amazed at her dedication to service. She was there bright & early as well as late at night. She definitely makes the stay that much more enjoyable.

Poor communication

I stayed here earlier in March and was surprised to be greeted by a major hotel renovation which was evident upon arrival: the lobby is cut up and completely unavailable for a guest to enjoy. The bistro wa open with an even more limited menu than usual but there was no sitting area or business center. The tall, stoic agent at the front desk made no mention of the magnitude of the renovation and gave me a room which I would consider one of the worst in the hotel, next to the elevator, overlooking the roof on the second floor. I didn't expect a suite, but I am a top tier Marriott traveler and no mention was made of my loyalty. I needed to wash some clothes but unfortunately, their guest laundry room was also impacted by the hotel renovation and closed. I might add their was no mention of the massive project going on at the hotel on their website. Shouldn't that information be available to travelers before making their decision to stay? I think so!

The renovation is mentioned both on the website and the Marriott Bonvoy application, and both are tested daily at the hotel. May I please know whether you were using a browser window or the application when you made your reservation, so I may look into this further?
