Direct flights to Zakynthos are not available from Canada, but several connections to Europe are, including routes from Rome's Fiumicino, Frankfurt in Germany, and several airports in England. The airport has ample services that include food and beverage outlets and duty-free shopping.

Tips and Additional Advisory

No flights leave or arrive in Zakynthos between 10 pm and 4 am to accommodate the local turtle population as they lay their eggs. There is little in the way of public transit that connects the airport to the surrounding region. In fact, your choices are limited to taxis or a rental car. If you have a previous booking with a nearby hotel, transportation could be provided directly to your lodging in a hired car or via shuttle.
