Kelowna International Airport is situated 11.5 km to the northeast of the city's downtown core. If you drive down Highway 97, your trip by car or taxi will take around 10 minutes. Despite not being a huge facility, YLW was recently expanded and renovated, so its airport facilities are sparklingly new.

There are a few dining options, including Tim Horton's, White Spot Legends Restaurant, and Skyway Café and Wine Bar. If you're travelling with your little ones, YLW offers a kids zone with iPad games, children's TV shows, and interactive puzzles.
