My code to the front door did not work. I found a groundskeeper who was rude and told me it was my fault. (I know how keypads work!). Because I could not get my code to unlock the door I could not leave to go get dinner in fear of not being able to get back in.
The next morning, the groundskeeper started doing work (sanding the floor?) right above my room at 8:30 am!
At no time did anyone check in on me or respond to my issue about my code not working.
The room was minimal. The breakfast was help yourself but all instructions in the kitchen were in Swedish even though they advertise Swedish and English.
If they do not want to provide service, then list it on AirBnB as self checkin or close it completely during off season.

Hostel not a Hotel
When I got there, the only person I saw was a very rude grounds keeper. Who waited until I got all my things out of the car before telling me I could not park there and to drive around the other side.

There was no one to great me, only a sign, in Swedish, on the door. After trying to call, I found an email (in Swedish) and had to translate it.
It was a “self-service” hotel!!!!
The code did not work.

I found the grounds keeper and told him. He accused me of breaking the keypad and went round to let me in. After I brought my things in, he showed me that the key pad worked for him. I tried it again. Nope. Did not work for me. I found him again and he told me the owners were coming to check on it.

About 15 minutes later I hear a car pull up and them talking. I was in the lounge and thought they would check on me. A few minutes later I hear the car pull away, run downstairs but both the owners and the grounds keeper were gone.

My code still did not work!

I could not leave for dinner because I had no way of getting back in and was even nervous about walking my dog for fear of being locked out.

I felt very insecure with no one on the premises in case I needed help.
There was a large kitchen with food in a refrigerator and guests were supposed to get their own breakfast and clean the kitchen themselves.
Again, all signs were in Swedish and I had no idea how to work the stove.
The next morning, at 8:30am, the grounds keeper was back. This time sanding the floors in a room right above me! The place was empty except for me and another female guest in the room next to me so why did he have to sand right above our room.
