Our stay at Hotel Da Gigi was a pleasant experience. We used it as a home base to explore the surrounding area. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the convenience of dining in their restaurant a few times. Excellent quality and service. We were very happy with our stay!

Very unlikely that I will stop again

Business lunch... it's true that on the piece of paper they bring to the table before ordering it says that the price is fixed regardless of whether you take the full lunch or just the second course or just the first course but it doesn't work like that, it's not like I have to bother myself and I think it's fair to pay for what I get. I've been eating out for lunch for 25 years but it's really rare to find situations like this. Afterwards the chosen dish was good. Furthermore, a business lunch at €16 is really high.

Most helpful and hardest working people you ever saw. Arrived late at the hotel, were given a chance to order a delicious steak dinner in the surprisingly fancy restaurant with very professional and hardworking staff. After working in the restaurant until at least 10:30 pm the owner got up at 4:00 to make us fresh croissants with jam inside for our breakfast. She is amazing! Room was (and this is rare!) better than the photos -- and super clean -- and in the morning we opened our shutters to find a bucolic scene of a pond right outside. Very convenient location off highway between Venice and Trieste/Ljubjiana but should be a destination in and of itself. Charming spot.
