Thankfully, the airport also goes by the name of Pajas Blancas and is conveniently located only nine kilometers from the center of town. The city is the capital of the province, which goes by the same name.

Ground Transportation

Taxis, hotel shuttles, and other forms of private transport are readily available at COR. The following are a few budget and public options when you’re ready to leave the airport.

  • Express Service between downtown, the main bus station, and the airport is provided on the Aerobus route, courtesy of the Ersa bus company.
  • Local buses, also run by Ersa, run from the airport to the downtown core and several suburbs and other urban areas.
  • Regional buses to other locations near Cordoba, including other cities and outlying urban areas, are provided by Fono Bús, Eder and Intercórdoba. These are available directly from the airport.

COR is an airport that has gone through various expansions and renovations in the last few years, which includes the addition of new airlines that serve regional and national routes. More intercontinental additions are planned for the future. There are currently no direct flights from Canada, and the only connecting flights available leave from YYZ in Toronto. You can reach Cordoba with only one stop, but most routes require two.

  • Aerolíneas Argentinas, the national flagship carrier, dominates the roster at COR and operates flights to virtually every airport in the country, although some on a seasonal basis only.
  • Air Europa represents the only connection to the European continent in this airport, with regular scheduled service to Madrid, Spain. The airline also flies to Cordoba from Paraguay.
  • LATAM, the airline group that corners most of the market for regional flights across the South American continent, has a strong presence here. Fly from Chile, Brazil, or various destinations within the country.
