2. Take a Canopy Tour

Chukka Adventures also hosts canopy tours. Operating out of Montego Bay and Negril, travellers can whiz through the rainforest at speeds of up to 55 kph across nine cables overall. Hard hats and harnesses are of course provided, and experienced guides are there to guide and instruct you before every thrill ride. The cables cross the Limestone Cliff, the 305 metre-long Inter-parish Express and Jamaica’s Great River. Starting at the Reynolds Pier in Ocho Rios, Wilderness ATV Tours is one heck of a ride. After getting your safety instructions, your group will head out and up to Ochie’s highest peak. Instead of powering through different terrain, this tour is more about enjoying Jamaica’s natural beauty. The ride takes about 40-minutes to climb the 1,800 feet where you’ll have a drink before making your way back down.
