Skyscanner is always free for travellers. We never charge any commission or fees. We are paid by our travel partners and advertisers. Depending on our agreement, we will be given commission for each booking made through us or for every time travellers visit a partner’s website. We always make sure any adverts are labelled so that you know exactly what’s what.

How are prices on Skyscanner so cheap?

How will I receive my booking confirmation and travel information?

For any questions about your booking confirmation, it’s always best to speak to the travel provider directly. At Skyscanner, we don’t have access to your booking confirmation or details. Once you’ve chosen your flights, hotel or car rental option to book, we pass you through to the provider to make the booking directly. Can you cancel or change Skyscanner flights?

For changes or cancellations, we recommend that you contact the travel provider that you completed your booking with. Skyscanner doesn’t take your booking or payment ourselves. Instead, we pass you through to your chosen travel partner where you make your booking directly. It’s important to consider that there may be different options for changes, cancellations and refunds, and the travel provider will be best placed to advise on these.

Are Skyscanner tickets refundable?

For refunds, we recommend that you get in touch the travel provider that you booked with. Skyscanner doesn’t take bookings. Instead, we pass you through to your chosen travel provider. Remember to ask what the charge will be for any refund you are looking to make.
