Wonderful Dorset B&B!

We had a lovely stay at Hyde Cottage. We were attending a party at the Furzebrook Village Hall which was about a 15 minute walk away, so this B&B was an ideal location. Angie was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed! The rooms were clean, cosy and comfortable and the decor was lovely. There was a tea, coffee and hot chocolate making station with fresh milk and shortbread biscuits. Outside there was a comfortable seating area and Angie provided beer and wine glasses for our drinks. We were lucky enough to see two deers! We also had a great breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Dorset!

We'll Be Back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hyde Cottage. The room was large, light and airy, and spotlessly clean. All the amenities you could possibly need were supplied. Everything in the room was qood quality and the bed large and comfortable. Parking on site, very convenient, as is proximity to Arne, Wareham and Corfe Castle. Plenty of storage, and mirrors.
Breakfast was perfect! Angie is a great hostess, with lots of helpful local advice and information. Seeing the sika deer in the garden a delight!

Dorset Delight

Angie and Steve are perfect hosts and warmly welcomed us into their beautiful B&B. On arrival we were seated in the garden and were presented with delicious homemade scones and a large pot of tea. We were joined by one of the regular visitors to the garden, a sika deer. The deer came into the garden daily and it was lovely to watch them feed and roam the wooded garden. The bedrooms were so relaxing, very comfortable beds. two armchairs and a tv as well as ample storage space. There was a fridge which Angie kept topped up with fresh milk and water, a kettle, plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate and should you require them wine glasses, beer glasses etc. Anything you require I can almost guarantee Angie has to hand and is happy to supply. The bathroom in very large and very well decorated. We stayed in the upstairs room, a suite really, which was accessed through a second bedroom with smaller twin bed, so would be ideal for a family or four friends maybe. Obviously if you are just a couple you get the whole space to yourselves. There were lightweight duvets on the beds but we were shown where to find blankets or sheets should we require them. Often in the past we have sweltered under heavy winter duvets in the heat of the summer but here Angie has thoughtfully taken care of that. There is also a beautifully presented downstairs bedroom. Angie prides herself on taking care of her guests and is so helpful and friendly. Hyde Cottage is spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are served on your own individual tables and the breakasts are delicious, I suspect Angie shops at multiple shops to source the tastiest of everything. There is ample off road parking and a summer house that guests can use in the back garden. A gate leads from the garden onto the heath. This is our favourite B&B in Dorset and we just need an excuse to return very soon. Thank you Angie and Steve for the most relaxing stay we have had in a long time, we enjoyed our chats and look forward to finding a pond??? next time we visit. We will be back.

Wow! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Both Steve and I really appreciate you taking the time and effort in such a thoughtful, kind way. We feel very fortunate to have guests stay in our home who appreciate where we live and what we do. It was a pleasure to meet you both and yes ...watch this space regarding a pond! Looking forward to welcoming you back.
Thank you again.

Excellent, all with a smile

We stayed in Corfe for our 5 days (5-10 June 23) as regular visitors each year. Angie welcomes you with scones and afternoon tea on the first afternoon in the front seating area on arrival. Escorted to our rooms. Clean, tidy, well maintained, and hygienic. Free wifi, tv and plenty of drinks ,fridge in the room well stocked with milk and water. As i have health issues it is a comfort to know that any dietary request will be accepted. Friendly helpful assistance at all times. Menu is substantial and any variation can be accommodated with a smile. They have sika deer that visit the grounds as well as a cuckoo that can be heard. On the whole a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Well worth a visit and i am sure you too will become a regular visitor.

You will not find a better place to stay!

What can I say? Having stayed here twice now, you will not find a better BnB than this.
We were recommended Hyde Cottage by a friend and it did not disappoint in any way. Angie puts so much care and attention to everything and will try her best to fulfil any request. The rooms are stunning and the peaceful atmosphere is exactly what you would expect.
I cannot recommend this place, highly enough.
I only wish we could stay for longer than a weekend. :)
