Much better today!

I had written a review here in September due to the very unfriendly and incompetent service! And I think if something improves, you should also rewrite the review! We were today, but this time only for a drink on the terrace and were very accommodating and friendly served by Mr. Griebner!
Thank God a good experience in the new year and we will be back!

Fantastic

If you are at Lake Constance, you should eat Lake Constance felchen. We choose the restaurant Reutemann directly on the waterfront. Of course, you have to pay for the place and the view of the lake, but you are also rewarded with an excellent variation of this Lake Constance fish. For the large portion with drink you pay about 40 €. Minimal shortcoming, the waiter didn't even ask if it tasted good, well probably he just knew.

Slipping

I stayed here in 2022 and was eager to return. However, service seems to be slipping. Last time all the staff were customer focused, eager to assist. Rooms had mini bars.
This stay - not so much. We had a waiter who didn’t know the menu yet he had been there a couple months. He bumped into me while setting a plate down. Never had that before at any restaurant. The restaurant manager didn’t seem too eager to listen to my comments. (Truly I was not a Karen, I was letting him know because you can’t fix things you don’t know about).
The rooms are very nice. Bedding is great. Mini fridge is there but no snacks or wine. You can’t just relax before dinner unless you go to a store and pick up things for yourself.
Not worth the price this time.

Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.
