Central location, friendl staff, a bit compact but clean and quiet. Comfy beds. From balcony nice view to the city. Too few power sockets in rhe room to charge your portables. Skipped breakfast upfront, sneak view to the breakfast hall confirmed that it wouldnt have been wirth it. In the same building there was a great cafe with better value for your money

Lack of cleaning among others
The experience in this hotel was far less than expected for a 4 star. The room was poorly cleaned — neither vacuum cleaner seems to have been passed. There was hair in the bathroom and badly washed dishes. The furniture was filled with dust and the hallways visibly dirty.
The terrace of the bedroom was filthy, and in the bedroom itself there were only two outlets, both away from the beds. The bed was uncomfortable, which further compromised the stay.
The breakfast also left to be desired, with little variety and quality.
I expected much more, given the announced category. I would not return and do not recommend.

Friendly staff but room was in bad condition and breakfast was not good
Stayed for one night on July 21, 2025. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the room was in very bad condition. Carpet was stained. Air conditioning did not work well. Bathroom tile was cracked, towel rack was rusty, and when we pulled down the bathroom shade it was very dirty. Walls were scratched in multiple locations.
When we went to sleep, we realized the bed had only a bottom sheet and a top sheet (no duvet or blanket). There was a duvet without out a cover in the closet but I didn't want to use it because I didn't see how it could be clean if multiple guests use it without a cover. The shower was small and had a thin curtain which touched me when I showered (and I am fairly small) instead of a glass enclosure. There was no shelf to put your soap and shampoo.
The breakfast buffet did not seem fresh. On the buffet were 5 individual containers of yogurt, three that were expiring on July 22nd and two that were expiring on July 25th. There were two silver urns, one labeled "hot milk" and one labeled "cold milk." Both had room temperature milk that tasted odd. Eggs had a strange taste.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Stay could have been better
For the first time in Torres Vedras, we chose Stay Hotel for the location.
The building is beautiful, modern. Good access to the hotel, with ramp for carriages and luggage. Space ahead to unload the bags is very limited.
The interior has a modern and functional decoration.
The staff who received us were friendly and helpful.
As in the vicinity the car parking is paid and did not want to pay 10€/night in a private park, I parked the vehicle in the free park next to the PSP, and in a walk of just over five minutes, I was at the hotel.
We stayed one night in room 311, near the stairs, and the night we slept we heard a constant, disturbing knock on the door, which we saw the morning of our departure, as we headed to the breakfast room, which was the door of access to the reception desk by the staff, coming from the door next to the inner staircase.
I sent an e-mail to the hotel reporting what happened, suggesting placing a smoother knock, or that the staff hold the door before it closes. As we were on the third floor, I tried to imagine what was going on who was on the lower floors. You have not responded/commented to my message.
The breakfast is good, however, I noticed some things that could change: there was only one juice in the bottle, there could be one or two more options, and having berlin balls in the breakfast, it seemed to me a little disoriented from what you take at the first meal of the day. Of course I haven't seen anyone eat one. They could have, for example, an orange cake and one chocolate to the slices.
The strengths are the location and the sympathy of the staff.
Overall the stay was acceptable, but it's a 4 star where one of them is "tremida".

Hotel was perfectly centred in the square of Torres vedras, lovely service and with a beautiful view to the castle from our balcony room…. However… the only thing that was sort of a let down and very annoying was the room we stayed in had a shower door facing the toilet seat and you could open about 30cm of that shower door to get in and out of the shower. Obviously an architectural / design error. Make sure to check the doors first when you check in…
