I was in Asilah in the fall, in cloudy weather, and it was quite nice--I can imagine it would be lovely in prime beach weather (though likely way too crowded in high season). Very low-key place, nicely kept up in the medina, and quite clean. There weren't any real sights proper, which made it relaxing--we spent the last night of our trip here, and it was a good place to wind down. It's about the same distance from the Tangier airport as downtown Tangier, so a good alternative departure (or arrival) point. And it's on the train line, which is handy if you're coming up from points south.
