Booked Ekaanta for the first time and honestly I was a little nervous because wellness properties can sometimes feel either too commercial or too strict, but this stay was such a pleasant surprise. The entire place feels very calm and peaceful from the moment you enter, especially with the Ganga views and slower pace around the property.
I also tried the Ayurvedic massage and absolutely loved it. It was deeply relaxing and honestly one of the highlights of the stay. The wellness experience felt very authentic and thoughtfully done rather than forced.
And the food was SO good. I’m still thinking about the millet upma from breakfast and the Garhwali thali we had there. Everything felt fresh, comforting, and nourishing while still being genuinely delicious. Special mention to Rawat ji as well, who was incredibly warm and attentive throughout the meals and made me feel very cared for.
Also really appreciated the hospitality by Mr. Banerjee, the General Manager, who ensured everything was smooth and comfortable throughout my stay.
Overall, it didn’t feel like just another hotel stay. It genuinely felt like a small reset physically and mentally, even within one night.

Great place to rejuvenate
Awesome stay, good location, great ambience, fabulous view from the rooms, good food, great people and the hospitality. We came to relax and rejuvenate. They have a private ghaat on Ganga, the same side of Har Ki Paidi. Yoga, ayurvedic treatments were bliss.

Pleasant Experience
Ekaanta is a 10-12 min walk from the Railway station and the USP of the place is the private ghat where you can sit and unwind. Evening Aarti is also personal which is a rare treat in Haridwar. Food was delicious, catering to almost all cuisine styles. The staff and the manager were super helpful and make sure to cater to all your requests. Single ‘kutirs’ at the top floor are a bit packed but overall had a comfortable stay.

Mind and body balance, excellent stay, great hospitality, delicious food
We had an outstanding stay at Ekaanta from 13-15 Dec 2025. The hotel location is excellent, not too far from main Haridwar and at the same time, location is secluded and serene. The rooms with the Ganga view were just beautiful , the hotel decor and cleanliness are a class apart.
The activities planned by the hotel are excellent right from the yog nidra sessions, the yoga at the ghat or the adventurous walk in the Rajaji National Park by the mighty Ganges, the Ayurvedic doctor consultation and the Ayurvedic massage therapy sessions - all these gave a deep insight into the balance of mental and physical states of self. The evening private Aarti followed by Bhajan Sandhya gave the goosebumps with its divinity.
The hotel food, served with warmth, was Satvik and delicious.
Special mention to Mr Pradeep Banerjee and his team for the excellent hospitality.
