Hotels in Paderborn

Paderborn, located on the Pader River, Germany's shortest river, may not be well known outside of Europe, but it once played an important role in Medieval history. Having been founded by Charlemagne in the eighth century, a meeting between Charlemagne and Pope Leo III here in 799 led to the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire. As such, today Paderborn has a number of sites related to its religious and imperial history, most notably the Cathedral of Paderborn which contains the remains of St. Liborius. Other attractions include the Heinz Nixdorf Museumsforum, the world's largest computer museum, and the Paderquellgebiet, an area consisting of 200 springs where the Pader River forms.

Paderborn is an important regional centre and there are a number of hotels available. With Skyscanner's hotel search feature finding a place to rest while you are in the city is quick and simple.
