A pleasant city with visual appeal and a harbor where yachts the size of cruise ships can be found.
something for everyone, old French Charm, restaurants, markets, marina, bars
Unlike its posh neighbors to the west, Antibes retains a higher percentage of locals and isn't as subject to the ebbs and flows of seasonal visitors. For small town quaint, Antibes makes for a great base in the Côte d'Azur and is relatively affordable. The Vielle Ville (Old Town) is where you will find most of the tourist sights but the real highlight of the city is the atmosphere and it's pleasant beaches. This is also the deepest port in the area so a good place for spotting mega yachts.
The old town of Antibes must be visited. During the summer months of July and August and in the evening, there are markets along the old walls by the port. The port with amazing boats, the sandy beaches, the cafés, restaurants, shops. World famous.
