This was only a stopover on our way to the East Coast. It was sufficient for that purpose. A few restaurants to choose from were available within a short drive.

Terrible experience

This is a hard review to write because I've always had a great experience up until now. After booking on line which we were informed was non refundable we got a ground floor room. We were returning back from an out of town two trip and after driving 13 hours we needed to rest and sleep. Once we got into our room we discovered the carpet was wet throughout and the toilet had urine all over the seat and hair. We went to the front desk and we were given cleaner and a glove to clean it ourselves. The room was filled with spider webs and spiders everywhere. You can not control the A/C and it's a freezer in the room. The baseboards have never seen a cleaning cloth or cleaner. The comforter on one of the beds had feces on it which was discovered after a night sleep as it was on the inside which thankful fully was not used. Such a disappointment that Comfort Inn has degraded so badly. The front desk was no help at all and when my daughter complained we were told to contact the manager. This is not acceptable or sanitary. I will also be filing a report with the health department.
Do not stay here. Not a happy client

Room was very clean. Staff assisted well with request for ground floor accommodation.
Breakfast was generally acceptable but the eggs were overly wet.
“Drive up” room was not made clear on the Hotels.com website but was appreciated when made available.

In a pinch, it will do… but I won’t be back

This place is so sketchy…. I think it is being used as housing for newcomers to Canada and these poor people have taken over the breakfast area and are hoarding food back to their rooms, because I guess it’s all they have. There is also a large contingent of hungry railroad maintenance workers and other transient workers… so did I get what I wanted for breakfast, yes… was it enjoyable… hmmm.. not really. Other than breakfast, the hallways are dark, smelly (of moisture and chlorine from the pool) and noisy… half the doors are propped ajar. Our room, once we got in there… was adequate, and the A/C worked well although you really couldn’t determine what the temperature was set to. The towels were plush and bedding seemed very modern and comfortable. But the property and building are very tired… I think we stayed here once back in 2010 and it felt dated back then and while some of the room fixtures and features have been updated… the exterior of the building and some of the common areas are wearing every bit of that aging. It works as a stopover… but barely.
