A very friendly place

My wife and I spent a few days with our son at the Tabatinga Beach Resort as part of the World Cup. It was an excellent experience. The resort is at a top international level in terms of accommodations. However, what made the stay even better was the great personalized treatment we got from the owners, Fabio and Gertrud; they're an exception, a pleasure to interact with.
It's relatively far away from the airport and from Natal, so it'd be better to spend a few days rather than a single night. Renting a car is highly advisable. The beach in front is very nice, and there are others within walking and also driving distance if you like variety, from flat water to open sea waves. There's plenty of entertainment and things to do during the day; however not that much at night. It's very relaxing. The food in nearby restaurants is varied and very good.

Paradise on Earth!

My wife and I stayed there for a few days in DEC. We found this place because it was much cheaper than a resort right next to it called Praia Bonita. Its actually located by the beach (the map here in Trip Advisor totally wrong). Check google maps for Tabatinga Beach Resort near Natal and you will find it.
We reserved via the website and were attended by English speakers (relieve!). Credit card were not accepted (due to surcharges) so you have to make a bank/paypal deposit, which is quite common in Brazil. Not ideal but we are accustomed with that by now. Majority of the apartments are owned and are not for rent because only a few were available to choose from.
The apartments are brand new, fully equipped with everything you would possibly need - blenders to coffee machine. The place is clean including. Bedsheets and pillows were also brand new.
Days there fly by very quickly - you have the actual resort (swimming pool, sauna), a beach right in front with calm crystal clear warm water cut off by a coral reefs 100m from the beach and what they call "lagoas" (natural water lakes) all around you. These lagoas are excellent for kids. We enjoyed the bar in front of the resort by the beach. Activities are plenty - you can even learn how to kite-surf!
Getting there is a hassle, best to rent a car. Ask when you make the reservation for partner car rental companies in Natal - we got given a contact and it all worked out. Once you get there, you never want to leave. The mix of nice luxurious apartments and the beach made our holiday unforgettable.
No breakfast is offered so you have to self cater. There is a supermarket nearby. But as I mentioned, kitchen was well equipped and we even bought some fresh fish (literally off the boat - ask around where you can find the fishermen). This made the whole trip even more exciting (and challenging).
I've visited quite a few resorts in my life - this has to be on the top 3. Hands down recommend this to families (with or without kids). A hidden gem that will offer you an unforgettable holiday.

lugar excelente, limpo organizado, espaçoso, com vistas bonitas, com preço ótimo, indico par quem esta procurando um lugar tranquilo, com estacionamento privativo, piscinas grande organizada e limpa como sempre

EXCELENTE CONDOMÍNIO PARA A FAMÍLIA

Excelente condomínio para passar o verão com a família. Ficamos no quarto D-14, do Sr. Fábio, muito bom, todo mobilhado, cozinha, banheiro, sala e dois quartos. A piscina atende bem tanto crianças quanto adultos. A praia é calma e tem estrutura com boas barracas.
Não há vida noturno em Camurupim, mas para quem gosta de descansar é ideal.

Local muito agradável e familiar

Muito bom o hotel, com infraestrutura excelente para aproveitar com a família, se houvessem mais opções de comércio e alimentação nas proximidades, principalmente a noite, seria excelente; A praia e a piscina do hotel são fantásticas, torna o lugar muito prazeroso, principalmente com crianças.
