I stayed at Hilton Sofia for a short business trip and it was exactly what I needed

Check-in was efficient, the room was very clean, and the workspace was genuinely practical for getting work done. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay, including during video meetings.
What stood out most was the consistency of the service. The staff were professional, polite, and quick to help without being overly formal. Breakfast was well organized and started early enough for business travelers with morning meetings.
The location is excellent for moving around Sofia, and getting a taxi or ride-share was easy at any hour.
I have stayed in several business hotels in the region, and Hilton Sofia is one of the few that delivers a true 5-star business experience: quiet rooms, dependable service, good facilities, and no unnecessary hassle. I would definitely choose it again for work trips.

Outstanding 5 star hotel and service

Outstanding hotel and service. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Mr. Valentin, front
desk manager made our anniversary very special. He upgraded us
to a suite. He also sent us a very nice gift. Staff was very friendly at
the breakfast restaurant. Excellent food and lots of it. Daniela treated us super special. Suite was beautiful and comfortable with
a great view. Executive lounge was nice to have but the food needs
improvement.

Setting the Standard

I generally do not write reviews unless an experience is truly exceptional—whether exceptionally bad or, in this case, exceptionally good.
Having recently completed two stays at the only Hilton property in Bulgaria, I am thoroughly impressed. The property shines through across all departments, from the front desk and the culinary team at the breakfast buffet, the attentive service in the quiet, well-appointed lounge, the workmanship in the complete renovation to the truly immaculate work of the housekeeping team.
The DNA of this particular Hilton easily exceeds that of several flagship Hilton properties in premier Far East capitals. It is a true pleasure to witness this level of hospitality as Bulgaria recently entered the Eurozone.

loving this hotel

The newly renovated Hilton Sofia is stylish and comfortable, with beautiful design in the garden, lounge, and rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable. As a Diamond member, I’ve visited three times this year because it’s so memorable, and General Manager Stephan Reiter gives excellent recognition. The lounge staff have noticeably improved by my third visit. The only area for improvement would be the reception and concierge, who still act very casually rather than professionally. The lounge is generous with food / drinks, making it a relaxing experience overall.

It was our 40th anniversary and we were really looking forward to coming to Sofia for that unfortunately there was so much perfume in the Cleaning products throughout the buildingand the hallways had no Air. They smelled like plastic which may be OK for some people but if you cannot tolerate that physically it can make you really sick so we left a day early other than that.
Wonderful TAXI outside very reasonable very clean very nice driver but there was so much perfume we had to roll the windows down and it was 90° outside.Everything was good clean ,nice staff, the breakfast was okay not something’s tasted old there wasn’t enough artisan Bread. The woman that made the omelette did a very good job. Need more coffee machines but I don’t think we’ll be staying there again.
