The Museo Antropologico y de Arte Contemporaneo displays pre-Columbian artifacts along with collections of modern contemporary art. In the midst of town is the Guayaquil Metropolitan Cathedral. The ornate Gothic cathedral is filled with delicately sculptured arches and stained glass windows. Spend time in Seminario Park and watch the iguanas roam among the sculptures.
