Very nice peaceful and friendly hotel

Booked at the last minute, I arrived with some suspicion of making a mistake. I was happy to be proved wrong. A nice welcome, a comfortable room with space and light, followed by an enjoyable dinner. I had a good nights restful sleep in a very peaceful room, and awoke to enjoy a magnificent breakfast spread. Really nice little family run/owned hotel.

My black forest hotel

I must say I was really positive surprised: the location was nice and not far from Freiburg and Zurich. The rooms are big and the bed as well. We have got a king size bed with a large bathroom. The personal were very friendly and they helped us organize our trip. the breakfast was really good: I really have nothing negative to say. Very recomanded

Excellent Hotel

We were in holiday in Germany. We were lucky to get a last Price offer from this Hotel.
The Service was great and the personal was very helpful. They even waited for us til 01:00 am for check in. The breakfast was fresh and professional. A big buffet with different choices. Also the food was delicious.

Nice experience in the black forest

My husband and I were in a trip to Europe this summer and we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is small but very fine. The personal were very helpful and to our surprise they speak many languaes. We had a very nice room. It has everything what should be in a 4 stars hotel. The bed is just wonderful and it was very quiet and romantic there; which what we needed. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good so that we decided to eat everyday there. For the wellness I can not say anything about it as we didn t use it.
The breakfast was very rich and nothing was missing. I have to say this was really one of the best hotels we visited during our trip in Europe.

Coffee debacle

Getting straight to the point - during breakfast we asked for some coffee. The owner rudely refused to bring it to us, by saying that the previous night we had not drank anything (i.e. alcohol - which is paid separately). Last time I checked, I am not forced to drink anything anywhere, and having some coffee during breakfast at a hotel where I am a (well) paying customer doesn’t seem like such an unreasonable request. The lady that was on staff was remarkably polite.
