Hi , Started out a little rough upon check in, however was able to speak with General Manager and felt welcome, also always a pleasure to see Ms. Terri, she very pleasant on the front desk.
Also, a star for the hot tub working, have been several times when it wasn't working. Thanks so much , Eleatra J

Disappointed in Hilton - again...I think they are all having issues.

This could be a great property.
Only 2 stars because the guy at the desk tried but failed. sockets/usb ports over nightstands did not work. no remote to put shades up, chair had nasty crotch stain, tp holder in bathroom broken and kept falling off, our door looked broken into - not repaired well at all. noisy mechanical thing in hallway ran 24/7 door to the room it was plugged into was unlocked, open and kids were playing in there - wires all over room - must be safety hazard. we asked for help from front desk, he was supposed to have engineer contact us - engineer never showed. they did not have another handicap accessible room with roll-in shower that had a king size bed. no other help offered.

Faulty charges. Rude GM Lacey Childress. Unable to reach resolve through any means. Dismissed on every phone call.

This has been my preferred hotel for the last three years. I travel with work and choose to stay here weekly. April 30th, they charged me a smoking fee on a night I checked out briefly after checking in to help with a family emergency out of state. I have been in contact with every person you can reach as a Hilton customer and have not reached a resolve other than being told to dispute the charge by General Manager Lacey Childress. I was charged an upgrade fee in the middle of May. I don't upgrade rooms. The only possibility is me letting the front desk know about the AC being out, so they moved rooms, but I can't remember if this was the same visit or if they are just charging as they please. On May 20th, they charged me with another smoking fee. I have been in contact with the front desk person Orly who gives the runaround when I ask to speak with GM Lacey. I have requested the third-party electronic smoke detection reports 5seperate times now and have not received them. The two times I have successfully gotten her on the phone she has been dismissive, assuming, and rude. I want to see this report as I assume the time of the charge would prove this charge to be faulty, as I previously stated April 30th I was charged although I was physically in the room for less than an hour and not smoking.
I do not smoke. In fact, I have moderate to severe asthma and am strictly health conscious so can't smoke even if I wanted to.

A Solid Location But Request Extra Pillows

Stayed here one night. Parking is plentiful and easy, and there's a good number of bars/restaurants/entertainment walking distance. Staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and spacious, bed was reasonably comfortable. The pillows however, were nonexistent. even folding the two pillows over on themselves, they still had no support at all.
The little shop in the lobby had a couple of things, but seemed during my stay probably in need of a re-stock. They claim there's a restaurant here, and there's also an area that could have previously been a breakfast buffet spot, but when I was here breakfast was just 4 items on offer and a sitting area. Was very unclear.
All in all, this property did what I needed for a short stay in Jacksonville.

$300 smoking fee scam

Hotel refuses to let me talk to a manager about the $300 fee for smoking. I have never smoked in my life. I was not told about this charge before I checked out only received it in the bill many days later.
I have called Hilton and they have an open case now against this hotel for these $300 charges. You can see many other reviews where people have been scammed.
