I visited Sarasota to go to Siesta Key, voted one of the best beaches. This area is really nice and this beach is totally worth a visit for its ultra soft, fine white sand that stays cool to the touch and the warm, clear blue waters.

Lovely area within 1 and 1/2 hour drive from our lovely house. Fabulous restaurants and shops - pricey compared to Orlando. Lovely beach and you can watch the sun go down in the evening in the Gulf of Mexico - very romantic!!
