I loved this town. There's a lot of great stuff to see here, especially if you're into history!
The stelae and tombs here are interesting enough but the biggest attraction to Aksum is what it was (the center of the Aksumite kingdom) not what it is today. If there were one place we visited in Ethiopia that I thought we could have skipped, it was Aksum. That said, a day here is interesting enough to warrant a visit if you have the time.
