Iconic and friendly Outback town at the end of the railway, Longreach is a great place to start or end your adventure through the Outback. The easy-going downtown is packed with coffee shops, bakeries, studios, souvenir shops, and friendly faces. Longreach is home to the Qantas Founders Museum and the Stockman's Hall of Fame. If you're without your own set of wheels, look to Outback Aussie Tours (next to the railway station) for some tours through the Outback.
Longreach is a friendly outback town and great to visit in the winter months. The sunsets are glorious.
