Description
On the northern Tel Aviv coast, by the estuary of the Yarkon River with the Mediterranean, packed with a rich yet brief share of modern history and present activity, lays the old port of Tel Aviv. ... Read more
This premise, inactive as a sea port today, is nonetheless one of the liveliest quarters of Tel Aviv as far as nightlife and daytime hangout resort.

The port is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon with the kids (or without) and enjoy one of the most crowded places over the weekends. The area has a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and also a lot of shopping options, from small boutique stores to big fashion chains. It also has a small "farmers market" with food, although it's a bit pricy.

The place to be on Shabbat! While most of the city is closed for the day, the Tel Aviv Port comes alive with performances and market stalls... Watch the stunning sunset from one of the many restaurants on the promenade. Lots of choices here, and everybody who's anybody will be out here over Shabbat :)

A wide space near the Mediterranean Sea that you can walk around to enjoy the sea breeze. There are good places to eat and shop. Lovely!

Stroll along the Tel Aviv port - a great place to take the kids for a walk or a scoot on the bike. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Don't forget to visit the Tel Aviv port market for to stock up on your larder, some nice coffee and some really really nice salt beef sandwiches.

Nice to stroll along the waterfront, people watch and even try the cafés. Can't forget that once we had dinner in one of the most popular restaurants and even with reservation we still had to swit half an hour for a table!

Tel Aviv is one of the most amazing cities I've ever visited. The most delicious food! And easy to see the most beautiful places in Israel as day trips or around the city.

great place to hang out with friends and family, even with a spouse (can be very romantic at sunset)
mostly popular at saturdays mornings.
a lot of shops, cafes and great restaurants!
there is a fantastic farmers market with special home made goods, a bit pricey but very tasty and worthy.

tip: in hot summer days stand along the seaside wooden deck and wait for the sea waves to splash cool water at you:)

Night time or day time, this place is absolutely beautiful.
You can bike, you can walk with a stroller, it's super super awesome all the time.
Just select one of the restaurants (some world famous) or one of the cafes and enjoy!

The Port of Tel Aviv had a major renovation few years ago. This turned it to a great place to visit. If you are looking for nightlife or just to spend a nice morning or after noon this is the place for you.
There are many restaurants and coffee places. There also art galleries.
This is one of the top 10 things to see in Tel Aviv!
