an exciting experience, but not too pricey. There's nothing better after a long day of searching the many surrounding temples and ruins than kicking back to a refreshing meal or drink at one of the many pubs and restaurants throughout Pub Street. In addition, the night life on Pub Street is the best in the area with its many clubs and bars, a perfect ending to an exciting day of site-seeing!

Love it or loathe it, most visitors find themselves on Pub Street at some point during their stay in Siem Reap. There's not much which is authentically Cambodian about this area - teeming with western bars, clubs, restaurants, souvenir shops and massage parlours, music blasts out of the bars and the drinks are ridiculously cheap. After a day of temple-hopping, backpackers head to action-packed, neon-lit Pub Street to party the night away. If you've been to Khao San Road in Bangkok, you'll recognise the scene.

If I had to describe pub street in one word, it would be: Meh. Tons of bars, tons of foreigners, lots of neon, and a few tiny pieces of local culture sprinkled in. Not really my cup of tea, but if heavy drinking to the backdrop of karaoke solos is your thing, this is definitely the place to do it.

Good for shopping and 50c beers. It gets too noisy thou but that's the fun I guess.

This is the nightlife center of town where all backpackers, tourists, and everything in between congregate. There is a buzzing energy full of nightlife, restaurants and local randomness. Definitely a must!

This is busiest area in Siem Reap. It has shopping, dining and entertainment everywhere. Restaurants are everywhere serving local and international cuisines. Some have live bands for nightly entertainments. It is quite crowded most of the time.

A must do the heart beat of town. Royal show street fiesta nightly. All the bars, restaurants you can imagine followed by the infusion of vendors on the hospitality trail. Endless parade of tuktuks foot massage and mobile food stalls

I think Pub Street is the most busy street in Siem Reap especially at night. The restaurants and bars on this street are sure gathered so many visitors. A place for those who love or enjoy crowd.

The Pub Street area ( not really limited to a single street) comes alive at night with many happy hour specials, street food stalls, and local craft offerings

The busy main attraction after the sun goes down. Pub Street is full of restaurants and bars for any taste and budget. You can find also the Night markets around with a huge variety of goods and products.

The centre for Siem Reap bars is in the Old Market area next to the French Quarter and it focuses on a street near Sivatha Street, called Pub Street because nobody knows what else to call it. There are about fifteen to twenty bars around it. At one end is Molly Malone’s, an Irish place with Guinness, a dart board and pool table, and then comes The Balcony while across the street is In Touch with a huge bar and good Thai food.

Pub Street itself is a good base point for the Night Market.
There are a few pubs along the street, but it was the restaurants that got my attention - nothing extremely 'local', just more upmarket to standard Cambodian streets.

Don't get too excited with the market stalls along Pub Street - you'll see more interesting places along the alleyways and side streets.

The center of commercial activity but a bit depressing in my book. The bars here still attract way too many sex workers.

Lively area with a high concentration of bars and restaurants but most of them tourist traps.

I love all the outdoor seating there is here - on a nice night, you can grab a table outside at a restaurant and watch the nightlife go by all around you. We ate at a pretty decent thai restaurant, but the cuisine along the street is pleasantly varied. There's also a busy market during the day, but, as always, be careful of pick-pocketers, since this is a prime tourist destination.

Pub Street is based in a lively section of downtown Siem Reap and is filled with restaurants, bars, pubs, and clubs catering to tourists and the expat crowd. There are many things to see and do, so I suggest coming here at night after a long trek exploring Angkor Wat.

This area is a definite tourist trap. Everyone eating/drinking in the area were foreigners. I even noticed the prices for the food/drinks were much higher.

But aside from this area being geared towards tourists, I wasn't impressed with the lineup of restaurants and shops.

If you skip this place, you wouldn't be missing out.

Fun street with some good restaurants despite being obviously geared to tourists.

You can call it an over priced tourist trap, or you can call it an indicator of the prosperity of the region brought by tourism; what you should never do, is compare it to a first world country! They serve a need, and do it because there are very few options that pay so well, and meet their families needs; our driver could afford to send his son to a private school!

Worth having dinner here for one or two nights, but then there are much better places to go and get some local fair. The main tourist strip, this is where you will find all the over priced tourist restaurants, massage places, and souvenir shops. If you want a late night party, the Temple Bar and Angkor What? Bar is the place for you. Just off the main strip you will find all the outdoor street stalls that serve great food and much cheaper, they start around 4pm and go till about 11pm.
