tranquil and treatments feel AHmazing. The reputation is unparalleled. When people talk about their best experience at a spa, this one comes up on top – Joya Spa. There is also a hair salon, which, they say, has a celebrity stylist. The great thing about this is you can get a blowout and manicure before you hit the town (or one of the amazing restaurants on the grounds). While the guest room décor takes you to Southern Spain, you will dine in Italy. Sitting at the base of the Camelback Mountain, the energy is uplifting, the stars are out at night and romance is in the air. This resort works for lovers, family and friends.

The only small negative are the pool are small and little unimpressive.

This is another one of Phoenix's truly great resorts. The Omni is in Paradise Valley, the city's ritziest address. You'll fall in love with the gorgeous grounds and the view of Camelback Mountain here. I personally loved the pools here, the perfect place to see and be seen. The on-site Joya spa is Moroccan inspired and a great place to unwind. You'll enjoy amenities like steam rooms, whirlpools, saunas and lounges. Like most spas, this one also smells great. One highlight here is the Hammam Experience, where you go from warm to cold pools in traditional Morrocan fashion.

Montelucia is my favorite staycation destination when I need to unwind and decompress. The grounds are gorgeous, and the resort is home to one of my favorite places to pamper myself, the Joya Spa. I believe it's the only spa in the city (and maybe all of Arizona) that has a Hammam bath (also known as a Turkish bath). I like that you can pick from a wide range of treatments, from massage to naturopathic services. Everything is designed to make you feel relaxed and pampered. I recommend the seasonal facial.

If you're looking for a resort that's larger than life, you can't do much better than the Montelucia. This place is huge. Just walking into ivy-lined the courtyard that serves as the hotel's main entrance I was struck by the enormity of the whole thing. Just to bring guests to their rooms the Montelucia employs a fleet of golf carts (the one I rode in had over 30,000 miles) to cover its massive 34 acre property. The rooms are equally spacious, each with its own balcony. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor, you get a better view of Camelback (Montelucia is named after the silhouetted city lights over the mountain).

And with all that room, the Montelucia has plenty of space to cover all your potential needs. Multiple restaurants and bars, two pools (one adults only) and an on-site spa make sure you don't have to leave the property if you don't want to.

But if you do decide to venture out, fear not, because there's plenty to do in the area, and the hotel is only a quick ride away from Old Town Scottsdale.

Beautiful hotel with a great spa. Whether you're visiting Scottsdale or live in the area and are in need of some pampering, check in for a day or two and treat yourself with a few back to back treatments and you'll leave feeling rested and renewed.

This hotel has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and the best spa I've ever experienced. The restaurant is great and the views of Camelback Mountain are stunning. I go back every year!

Give me a fiery hot sun, boozy drinks, and an adult only pool and I'm set! The complementary massive suite upgrade was just icing on the cake.

I only stayed for a weekend but I could have retired at this place. All of the food was excellent and the poolside service was wonderful.

I get back to Phoenix pretty often and I don't get to stay here as often as I would like, unfortunately.

Definitely check out the smaller secluded adult pool.

You know those scenes from the movies when a couple is dining outside on a balcony with gorgoues mountainscapes and a purple sunset in the background? Montelucia captures the scene beatuifuly. Standing on the balcony of one of their restaurants I was surrounded by mountains and some of the best desert landscaping phoenix has to offer.

Then the rooms made me feel like I was James Bond. They are spacious with a lot of cool furniture (in case I need to stage an action sequence saving the world from international criminals), opulent, and stylish.

While catching some sun I felt like I was Lawrence of Arabia. The Kasbah pool has an Indian feel to it. Huge beautiful pools at this resort. I highly recommend for couples. You can have a relaxing experience at the resort and is close enough to head to Old Town for some nightlife.
