My friends wanted to do the mixology tour which was good and fun. Limited amount of drinks though. We only made 3 drinks. The tour of the site itself was pretty nice - you start off in a tram, but then make your way back to the entrance on foot.

The store is nice. The tour was nice. It was a pleasant enough way to spend the afternoon.

Do be warned that if you are taking the afternoon ferry across, there is no 3:30 ferry. The captain takes a lunch break. The next one is at 4 which barely gets you to the 4:30p tour start time. When you do get off the ferry though, exit to your left and head towards the yellow parking structure. There is a free Bacardi van to take you to the site.

The history was pretty cool. And the tour was worth it. Free! And with 2 free drinks per person. Pretty good, eh? My favorite part was smelling all of the different flavors of the rums.

This place is quite charming. It is the original rum factory. They have a nice free tour of their plant and then they offer you even a complementary drink. The view from the Catano Bay to old San Juan is really astonishing especially during sunset.

The actual tour is free, including 2 drinks, you can pay $10 for a mixed drink in a commemorative glass. Take a taxi to the ferry get off ferry take another taxi to Bacardi Factory for free tour. Transportation should be less than $15 round trip. Do not pay $35 to tourist companies for this excursion.

If you like free drinks then this is the excursion for you...but that was the best part of this trip. I enjoyed my two free drinks and the fact that you don't have to pay for this tour, yes its free! I was a little bored during the tour, but maybe I should have waited to have my drinks after the tour so that I had something to look forward to.

Bacardi Rum Factory was a fun place to visit on our own. You definitely do not need a tour guide for it. The ferry from San Juan is very very cheap round trip and once we arrived we took a cab with people to the factory. You get two small complimentary drinks and the 45 minute tour was informative and not too long. I was glad we went but if it was a sunny day I would have rather explored Old San Juan more. All in all it was a fun time.

You get 2 free drink tickets with the tour, there's also a cash bar mixing premium drinks - the $10 mojito was worth every penny, and if you tip your bartender well you're likely to get extra free drink tickets. Well stocked gift shop has unique Bacardi beverages at good prices, too.

free tour but you have to pay for the boat ride. just be sure to go before the last boat leaves the dock and the island!

This was a fun tour, would have been more fun with more samples - but OK. The guide was extremely friendly and every time she said Puerto Rico she trilled her R's and over emphasized the pronunciation.

Fan of the rum or not, when in Rome, do what the Romans do, when in the Caribbean, drink rum...or at least visit the factory.

The Bacardi grounds is gorgeous and the end of tour rum tastings occurs outdoors in a massive open air tent-like structure. There are so many flavors to choose from or the barista could concoct something especially for you.

The tour was informative and engaging. Although it didn't turn me into a rum drinker, it was a fun time see how it is made.
