I loved my visit to this museum, since I'm a big fan of airplanes I was quite entertained. We came to the museum by bicycle and was a lot of fun.

A very cool museum for kids and engineering enthusiasts. It was a thrill seeing a real lunar
space capsule! Many historic exhibits but the kids mat e joyed the interactive science of flight exhibits (Tip: the cafeteria here is not great. Venture outside for lunch)

Fabulous aviation history in real life scenes. From the first space orbits to Lindburgh and War flights. This is worth seeing. Everyone will love this place. Car museum next door.

It's Spring Mother freaking break!! You have to say it like James Franco "SPRING BREAAK". In reality, I just started another semester of graduate school but who's cares. What up San Diego!?! It's great to be back. I have always considered moving here because it reminds of SF with better than OC weather combine with chill people. SD peeps are always welcome to outsiders. Even getting lost or making wrong turns, I did not experience any LA attitude from locals or the "California Howdy", composed of four fingers down and one finger up. It's Laid back. Please adopt me San Diego.

Thank you Air and Space Museum! Also, shout outs to supporting a great cause. The crew here worked hard to blow our socks off. Time to get fat! I only wish I brought multiple stomachs.

Some highlights included:
Great DJ music
Great lighting and setting. Is that a helicopter overhead? Yes, it is. The courtyard felt like an indoor and outdoor part at the same time.
Exploring the museum. A lot of a fascinating stuff. I enjoyed the Da Vinci exhibit. Partying and getting educated.
Flight simulation
Lots of people but not overcrowded

Until next time, stay classy San Diego!

I recent came here for a event and got a chance to see this museum in balboa park. The museum focus in aviation but at the time has Dan Vinci items as special exhibit l. Which was cool and also they has 4D movies as well.

Overall this is a great museum to bring kids or if you had interest in aviation.

If you love airplanes and rockets then you have to check it out. They were featuring a Da Vinci exhibit on my visit and it's got something for everyone.

The museum is nice but quite small and fairly expensive for what is has to offer...

This was one of the last museums I visited as I didn't know much about it. So glad we went.a lot to see. Kids will enjoy it at every age. The older they get, The more they are interested in the history and read the info instead of just walking through

One of the jewels of San Diego's Balboa Park Museums, the Air & Space Museum is loaded with all things relating to aviation history. Many years ago the museum was decimated by fire, and with donations from other museums, they were able to rebuild and improve the museum. Definitely take a look if you are spending some time in the park.

More airplanes than an airport! Tons of history and knowledge. Today they even had a special exhibit about Leonardo da Vinci and his architectural and painting works. Plus there are some flight simulators which are awesome.

Very large aviation and space museum with a lot of different planes, helicopters, etc. You will learn a lot! There are interactive elements too! 4D show included. Sometimes special exhibits like Leonardo de Vinci.

The name says it all. My favorite part of the museum was actually for free: the SR-71 blackbird they had on display in front of the museum. They did have other aircraft available, particularly vintage aircraft, on display inside.
