This is a classy, business hotel in the heart of all of Rome's historical sights. It has a rich interior and exterior with great service.

The plaza is really awsome, I love the fountain and the whole plaza.. Actually the name is Piazza della Repubblica, but I know that the original name was Piazza Esedra, and this is the reason why the hotel has this name. However, this place remainds me to a fairy tale, maybe also because of the columns, and of the arcade. What about the hotel... You can have all, if you pay! The menu of the restaurant is ambitious. The rooms royal and the bed are really cozy. The attendants are polite and ready to satisfy everything you can desire. I see that there is a swiming pool on the roof, but unfortunatly I went there in winter, and the pool is open only from may to september..what a pity, the sight is wonderful.

Hotel Exedra is the first 5stars luxury hotel of Rome. This neoclassical building ,situated in Piazza della Repubblica, offers lots of service and an extremely elegant atmosphere. 238 rooms have everything you need in your stay(free wifi,frigobar,safetybox,hairdryer,...) even some famous branded products for your body and a shower with hydro-massage.One of the hotel's jewels is the boutique in the hall full of handcrafted object. The hotel also offer a swimming pool for the summer, a wellness center, a buisness center on roman ruines, 2 sophisticated restaurants and a spectacular terrace where you can admire a thrilling wiew of Rome.Everything is perfect, well-finished, and staff is excellent. Breakfast is not complimentary but you can obtain with special packages.

One of Rome's most fanciest hotels for sure! The hotel isn't for those on a budget as a quick entrance to the lobby will quickly demonstrate. The positives of this hotel are: it is very comfortable, there is a metro stop right outside the front door (although I imagine that most guess who have the money probably drive or are driven around), and the staff are generally helpful. Drawbacks? The cost for one thing are a bit high, and the location is kind of on the dull side after hours.

An incredibly fancy chandelier dominates the expansive marble lobby. Enormous wrought-iron birds hold the lanterns outside the hotel, which occupies a third of the Piazza della Repubblica on which it sits. This place is well located with easy transportation every which way, but in the end there was a certain tension in the extensiveness of the fanciness.

I stopped into the Boscolo Exedra wanting to speak to them about bringing a group of people to stay, and they barely gave me the time of day. I had a quick look around, and yes, it's a beautiful hotel with soaring ceilings and a great location. In my book, however, it's the service that counts, and I unfortunately thought the Exedra didn't quite live up to its lofty 5 star designation.

You might expect five-star, but expectations don't always live up to reality. Ok, the rooms are huge and stylish, but the overall vibe, the efficiency of the staff, the decor -- they are not in my opinion worthy of such a rating. For what I paid, I expected more. One thing that did stand out though, is the room service: we arrived very late and hadn't eaten yet, so decided to have a bit brought up to the room -- in looking around for a menu I stumbled upon something more akin to a phone book, replete with an incredible assortment of dishes, with all the recipes for these dishes! An absolute wonder to behold, and very tempting to take along as a souvenir. But alas, as with many things in this hotel, that option had a hefty price-tag associated with it! My opinion, for the money you spend staying here, there are better choices in Rome.
