Quebec Vacations

Quebec is the only province in Canada where French is predominately spoken by the population. It is the biggest province by size and also has a lot of natural resources. Part of Canada, it's also just a little out of step: the national holiday for Quebec is on June 24th, one week before the national holiday of Canada on July 1st.

Sprawling from the temperate south of Canada to the Arctic north, Quebec’s weather varies dramatically. Peak tourist season is in the summer (late-June through early-September), when the city streets come alive ... Read more
with alfresco dining and festivals, and when the northern tundra is ripe for exploration. The colder months attract avid skiers to the southern Laurentian Mountains, and in February, Quebec City hosts its two-week-long Carnaval du Quebec, complete with an illuminated ice palace. Spring and autumn have their own allure: autumn brings out colorful foliage and spring means maple syrup.

Quebec is very different from the rest of Canada, with an active independence movement fueled by its own language, culture and history. Visiting Quebec is a treat, as it often feels more like Europe than North America!

I think the Quebec region is great for all types of travelers. There's plenty for outdoorsy activities, family fun and cultural activities. Between Montreal and Quebec City there is plenty of food, museums, fireworks and more.

A very good part of my favorite country: Canada. All the people is very kind and you can learn and practice English and French. You breath culture every step you take and you feel really comfortable if you are with the people you love. The only bad thing I would say is that I don't like that the people who does speak English doesn't speak it because they want independence.
