Sitting well outside of the hurricane belt, Aruba is one of those rare utopias where the weather is gorgeous year-round. No matter what time of the year you go, you’ll likely encounter sun-drenched beaches, ... Read more
temperatures in the 80s, and gentle breezes (that occasionally become stronger winds) to keep you nice and cool. These breezes die down in September, making the island more oppressively hot; however, other than that, you really can’t go wrong. You will have to pay steeper prices in the winter (December to mid-April) when other vacationers are fleeing dreary weather back home; and if you’re hoping for Christmas on the beach, you’ll want to book your hotel months in advance. In the summer, you’ll score big savings without having to forgo nice weather.

Beach was nice and fairly crowded. Lots of activities going on as well as music. My friend and I went parasailing. The price was reasonable. Overall the beach was nice and so were the people that worked there.

Hands down the best beach in Aruba, it's the place to see and be seen. With that polarity though, comes the crowds. If your hotel happens to be on this beach, then the crowds are less of an issue as your hotel will have it's own section of the beach.

Absolutely fabulous! The beaches were gorgeous, the people we're warm, and the food enjoyable. Aruba truly is the One Happy Island!

German submarines roamed the Caribbean in WWII - and a particularly bold U-boat skipper shelled Aruba's refineries - and lobbed a few torpedoes at the tankers waiting to be topped off. He got a few - lore has it that there are still a few unexploded torpedoes under the sands of Eagle Beach.

Gorgeous white sand and turquoise water but crowded and overbuilt. Hard to feel like you've escaped it all but there are ample facilities and activities to keep you busy. A fun place that has a little bit of something for everyone.

I love Aruba! What else can I say. Great people, great beaches, great weather... Highly recommend renting a jeep and exploring the other side of the island that doesn't have all the hotels. Stop at Baby beach and go snorkeling. Bring your own food because there is only one place to eat, Big Momma's and it is TERRIBLE! Make an effort to eat at Simply Fish at sunset at Marriott.

Beautiful beach! You can take a bus ride for just $2.30 each way. There are a couple of restaurants near the beach And apparently a really good Aruban Food Truck that is there everyday day but Sunday... Which is when we went. You can rent chairs but it's easier if you bring your own. Oh course the water is beautiful so enjoy.

Eagle Beach is a stretch of sandy beach, visited most likely by tourists, though it's in the low rise hotel area versus the high rise hotel area. There is a hotel across the street from the beach that has change rooms/rest room facilities. When we were there, there were a couple of brown pelicans that were enjoying a meal of minnows that were common in the ocean near shore. The pelicans didn't care that humans were also close by, often times diving into the water a short distance from the people.

Palm Beach is the best place for entertainment, shopping and fine restaurants - here is the Strip (night life) - 3 min by car from Swiss Paradise

One of the best beaches ever! Glistening white sand. You can engage just about any watersport as you walk along the beach.
