We love going here for happy hour. This is a great upscale restaurant in Oceanside and an easy walk from our place. If you are into martinis this is the place to go. Great ocean views from here.

I'm not much of a martini drinker but this is a place that I've always wanted to try. The blue cheese stuffed olives were AMAZING. The key lime pie martini was pretty good - note that it's a much sweeter drink. The lemon drop was also pretty good. Staff was very friendly.

Our bUZZ adventures have taken us to 333 Pacific this month. It’s the newest Cohn group restaurant to hit San Diego County. 333 offers the same, dynamic experience that will captivate you just like you had driven the 36.5 miles to get to the closest Cohn restaurant.

When you enter 333, you are welcomed by 2 high top bar tables that are lit with a blue light. It’s a perfect spot to meet the girls for drinks! There is a big screen TV that hangs over the bar that continuously shows ocean scenes. Or if you wanted to see the real thing, just sit on the patio and gaze out onto the great Pacific Ocean and the Oceanside Pier. It’s a beautiful spot that they have snagged.
Everything about this restaurant reminds me of Downtown San Diego. From the hostess standing by the desk at the front door, the meticulous details that went into choosing plates, silverware, and glasses, down to the first class service that is demanded by each and every Cohn restaurant. Every restaurant, clothing retailer, salesmen, car dealer, etc should take a lesson from them. I strongly believe that if we all adapted the philosophy that customers need to be treated with care, compassion, and good service the world would be a better place.
The perfection is shown in the food as well. I had pre-ordered the sweet chili calamari, crab, shrimp & lobster cake, Kobe beef pot stickers, wild mushroom risotto, Gouda mac & cheese, and 3 sushi rolls for the group. It turned out to be a great mix of dishes and gave us all a little taste of what this restaurant is capable of.

I was delighted by the Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Cake and the Calamari. Executive Chef Randy Miller has put a little spin on the staple Calamari by dishing it out already covered in a spicy chili sauce. I was quite surprised with the seafood cake because I could tasted the shrimp and I could taste the lobster and I could tasted the crab. Delicious! Just don’t eat 3. That was a little too much.

I’m not a fan of the Kobe Beef Potstickers. I had tried them once before and I chose to pass on them at the bUZZ night. Please make a comment about your thoughts on them.

I also need your help with the Wild Mushroom Risotto.

The Gouda Mac & Cheese was rich and creamy. That is one dish I want to try again because with all of the other rich flavors, it got lost in the mix of things for me. I did take some home, but it wasn’t the same.
333 is the perfect spot for date nights, girls nights, just out for drinks, and business dinners. The menu is a bit pricey, but if you hit their happy hour (4-7pm or 10-11pm everyday) there are 7 drink specials & 7 appetizers that are only $7 each. They also offer Seafood Champagne Sunday ($14 select champagne cocktails served with a choice of citrus shrimp & crab ceviche or shrimp-shrimp Bloody Mary cocktail), Monday Micro Brew Madness ($4 select from 8 great micro-brews), Tuesday in the Raw ($15 3 featured vodkas paired with 3 seafood tasters), Wine Wednesdays (50% off selected bottles of wine), 3-way Thursdays ($13 3 Kobe sliders served with 3 featured draft beers). In the dining room, they offer Prime-time Sundays ($33 3-course prime rib dinner) and 3 on Thursdays ( $33 Chef Randy creates a special 3 course dinner).
We had such a wonderful group of women at this bUZZ event. Thank you to all of you who had to make a long drive up to Oceanside. I promise to make the next night out further south.
