This modern oceanfront hotel in Miami Beach has a sleek modern design, and the two pools both have a nice view of the ocean. One of the pools is on the second floor and some of the rooms have a sliding door leading you out onto the deck. You can walk to the ocean in just a few steps, the perfect beach getaway. The attendants are very gracious and helpful. The rooms are beautifully designed, with wood floors and furniture along with modern beach-themes artwork. I felt like I was in the perfect beach house. There was music playing throughout the deck and outdoor bar, but the screen doors of the room shut all the noise out. Downstairs there's a very good restaurant Segafredo, where the chef greets guests. But keep in mind, this hotel is in a prime spot of Miami Beach, where many come to party. Someone had too much of a good time, The bathroom in the lobby reeked of vomit.
What you normally would expect from a Hilton hotel you get in spades with the Hilton Cabana. It's located much further north than South Beach (we're talking 50 blocks or so) which makes it perfect for a family getaway or a romantic retreat. The beach is separated from the hotel by a gate and a quick boardwalk path and even then, it stays pretty empty for what normal Miami beaches look like. The rooms are modern and clean, with a contemporary touch. You're within walking distance of a few local restaurant, a big grocery store, and a pharmacy. Also ten blocks north on Tuesdays you have a local food truck gathering, perfect for a family jaunt.
