At 550 feet high, this Ferris wheel is the tallest in the world! Come aboard for a fantastic vantage point of the Las Vegas Valley!

Well worth every penny. Went during the day you can see for miles. Bring everyone you can all fit in one pod. Night would be cool too.

Fun time to get away from the strip but have an amazing view of the city. If you time it right, you can watch the bellagio fountains during the trip. You must do the happy half hour open bar, as long as there's no kids with you

I had the open bar package and it was really nice to see. I didn't like sharing the pod because the other couples were loud and rude but eh, that's Vegas

Standing at 550 feet tall, the High Roller (I think the name is the best part of this thing) is currently the tallest Ferris Wheel in the world. Each of the 28 cabins fit about 12 people and one of those contains an open bar. You basically can drink as much as you want in the 30 minutes you're inside for about $15 more. The drinks, however, are not top shelf quality, so Smirnoff and Jack Daniels are the best you can get. There is a "Happy Hour" time where ticket prices are cheaper which you can check their website to confirm.

If you go around 5-6PM there's not too many people waiting, but I believe the later it gets, the more the line increases as drunken fools impulsively decide to ride this overpriced thing. The view, honestly, is not that spectacular as one side faces a parking lot or undeveloped land. This Ferris Wheel is located in the back of the new LinQ hotel so one side is facing The Strip while the other faces the vast desert.

So other than riding this thing for the novelty of it, there isn't much else to it.

Also, I was dying of thirst and the bartender reluctantly gave me water, wondering if there was even water aboard the alcoholic cabin. Hydration is important!

It was a very beautiful experience. Almost have to go on twice because there is so much to see. A must for any visitor or for a romantic night out. It allows you to slow down from the Vegas pace.

We went during the day to capture some great photos. Large pod you can walk around in. A monitor is on and counting the feet you travel. When you get to 420, the guy says, wow your high! Lol

Best time to ride is at night to see the strip lit up. Either take a basic cable car or the drink car, either way its a great experience.

This is a really awesome experience right in the middle of the strip. They have several options for riding. When I went I did the unlimited drink half hour of happiness. It was over all worth it the drinks were really good, but be sure to bring some cash to tip! The views are absolutely amazing and something that would be really cool to see at night.

The Mrs and I couldn't have asked for a better sunset experience. The bartender was personable, engaging and helpful. I recommend this to anyone wanting to try something different.

A great and easy ride to do toward the end of the strip. And it's got a great view of the entire Vegas strip. Fine for families during the day, more of a party at night. Highly recommended, especially if you need to sit and relax but get out of your room.

This is a ride you only take once, mostly because it is pretty expensive. We did discover though, that if you go on a Tuesday night and you are a local resident, you can get on for half price. So it is worth $19, but not $39 for your half hour ride.

This is an amazing concept to see all the views Vegas has to offer. The place is clean and organized. The 30 minute ride was great. I gave it less stars as the cost is quite high. If you know a local, can save half price off the ticket.

The wheel is huge! You can't miss it! There's also "secret parking" behind the wheel.

There were really no lines so we got through pretty quickly and were ready to board. We boarded with about 6-7 other people. Our bartender was awesome and made drinks so quick. Since its happy hour and open bar, you get to drink all you can. I was able to get in about 7-8 drinks in before our 30 minute tour was over. The views are beautiful and great! You get to be on top of Vegas! The wheel goes fairly slow so take your time and enjoy the view with that special someone. Drink up!

The High Roller is a fun way to see the sights and lights of Las Vegas and the surrounding sweeping valley. The High Roller is the world's tallest observation wheel at 550 ft. It goes very slowly, so slowly that you will not likely be affected by the spinning, even if you are prone to motion sickness. It goes around one time in a half an hour, and gives you the chance to see the vantage point of many different heights. There are lots of specials, including a family-centric package and a happy hour package that includes an open bar inside the cabin!
