Wow a great room for a reasonable price with breakfast included. No parking but they do have valet service.

Embassy Suites never fails me. This one was a little confusing at first though, be weary. The entrance is on the ground level, in the thick of Downtown Denver. When you first walk in though there's a lonesome desk next to some plants and near four elevator towers. Don't make my mistake and stand there for ten minutes until you read the desk (for the second time!) which says "registration on the fourth floor." At first I was bummed there was no grand entrance the hotel is known for, but once I figured out this secret and went to the 4th floor, I was in grand entrance city. It was a little different than usual still but awesome. There was a sitting area looking over Downtown Denver through a how-ever-many-floors-there-are-in-the-place window. The customer service was fantastic and I felt like VIP despite my beard and shaggy cut. The suites are the standard double rooms with a mini kitchen and pullout couch. If you have someone extra staying with you register them with the front desk. It's 15 bucks extra but they can eat breakfast for free which is usually $20. Great place. Oh! and it's LEED certified, so, very friendly to the environment.

This Embassy Suites is unlike any other I’ve ever encountered in my travels. The lobby is absolutely stunning, the staff are incredible, and the overall experience is so much more upscale than what is normally expected from an Embassy Suites. Elements Restaurant & Bar, located on the hotel’s fourth floor, not only offers an incredible free breakfast but every night from 5:30 to 7:30 they host a complimentary happy hour with free beer, wine, and well spirits. There’s also a massage studio on-site. The rooms are spacious, excellently outfitted with so many useful things (hair dryer, iron, coffee maker, and so on). It was a bit disappointing that WiFi cost $9.95 a day or $29.95 for a whole week but otherwise, I could not have been more impressed with this hotel.

As the name suggests, this hotel is within walking distance of the Convention Center so if you're coming into town for an event this is prime location. This also means it can fill up quickly, so don’t dawdle if you want to guarantee a room. For green-minded folks, it is LEED certified property. It’s within walking distance to the Light Rail, numerous restaurants, close to plenty of nightlife, and 16th Street Pedestrian Mall. The pool, fitness center and business centers are all open 24 hours/day. It caters to business travelers but if you do opt to bring family with you, keep in mind that the La Boheme Gentlemen’s Club is right across the street so if the kiddos can read neon signs, you might have a question or two coming your way.

I love this place for its convenience and perks. You get a complimentary breakfast here, as well as free drinks during Happy Hour downstairs in their cafe. And when I talk about drinks, I'm talking about alcoholic drinks. Woohoo! And you can go back for seconds! How awesome is that? Just don't forget to tip your bartenders for their hard work!

Rooms are really nice. For a Saturday night's stay, I paid around $153 for a King Suite. Wifi is not included. They have valet downstairs for $33 to park overnight, which is a bit pricey, but hey, what can you do? You get what you paid for I guess.

It's a phenomenal deal. The hotel suite is clean, spacious, comfortable and looks out on the convention center. Happy hour features unlimited free drink and snacks while the breakfast buffet in the morning is thronged with early risers in search of coffee and bacon. The Cripple Creek conference and ballrooms overlook the famous Blue Bear. Our only complaint was the shoe-box sized indoor swimming pool.
