I was recommended this groovy place by a client some years ago and have been visiting frequently ever since. The perfect place to meet a client or catch up telling story with an old friend. Support your local coffee shop, especially when they serve awesome coffee!

Good for a quiet Sunday morning brunch with friends, cute cafe in the top of the plaza.

This is one of my favorite cafes. They always have local art on the walls, pineapple-coconut cake in the pastry case, and large coffee mugs to sip from while you sit outside and read a book in the sunlight.

As a graduate student I frequent this spot religiously. Who wouldn't want a coffee shop walking distance from the beach?? The food is good and the staff is superfluous. Coffee is also on point!

Love this place! My absolute favorite coffee shop in the world. Staff has been there for as long as I've been going (2008), food and coffee are consistently excellent. I wouldn't change a thing.

Cute cafe in the heart of Carlsbad Village. Located on the second floor of the Carlsbad Village Faire Shopping Center next to Compass Restaurant. The atmosphere is great, friendly staff, local coffees, and yummy muffins and bagel sandwiches. Try a coffee float! So delish. They also offer free refills and free wifi! There are tables outside so you can work in the sunshine! The prices are reasonable and the parking is easy in the shopping center lot (be sure not to park in a one hour space if you're staying longer). Only complaints are that it seems to always be crowded and busy, and that there are limited power outlet plugs for those working on laptops or tablets. Just FYI :)

A great little cafe in Carlsbad Village with fresh juices, blended drinks, espresso and coffees, as well as sandwiches and other small meals. Nice ambience with artwork and a hipster feel.

My favorite coffee house in The Village. Enjoy the coffee, ice cream and food at this charming place on the second floor overlooking the fountain.

This is a cute little coffee shop located just yards from Starbucks. I would much rather work here with a better atmosphere and drinks that are less expensive.

Wonderful coffee shop. We had cappuccino float, tiramisu, and mango sorbet. All delicious. They serve almond milk too. That got me excited since I like almond than soy milk in my cappuccinos.

It's been about a year or so since the last time I went to Vinaka, but growing up in Carlsbad I was there very often. The vibe is nice, the coffee drinks are yummy and so are the pastries. I recommend sitting outside. It's nice! :)
