This Sheraton is mainly a business hotel, so you can expect standard business-hotel-like rooms, with large beds, pillow menus, lots of space, slippers and robes, big tubs and other amenities. Internet is free and you get pieces of Havanna chocolate at night as courtesy. The breakfast buffet is one of the largest I've ever seen, with so many options it almost feels like lunch. Staff is friendly and checking in and out was super quick and easy.
This Sheraton Hotel is ideally suited near the heart of the city, just a block from the water, and adjacent to the large Plaza San Martin park. It is across from the the British Clock Tower and the Retiro Train Station.
Being a Sheraton Hotel, part of the worldwide Starwood Hotel Group, it is a hotel to western standards.
When I stayed on the higher frequent-guests' concierge floors, I had great assistance from their Starwood Gold Members' concierge, when I found out I couldn't go on to Brazil because I hadn't secured a Visa. They helped me change my accommodations in Sao Paolo, directed me to the local passport office, and extended my stay 2 more days.
You'll probably pay about $200 a night here, depending on season, stay, room, and other factors.
We stayed at the Park Towers inside of the Sheraton. The room was perfect and the location is central for lots of BA activities.
We used points to stay here (twice), so it didn't cost us anything. Pretty convenient location. The rooms are OK.
