Buenos Aires is a magical city, often called the "Paris of the South". It is a foodie's dream if you love asado (barbeque) and authentic Italian pizza.

Prior to coming to Argentina, many fellow points enthusiasts raved about this hotel. When booking this hotel, I was a Diamond member of the Hyatt Gold Passport program.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a complimentary upgrade due to my hotel status. The room was beautiful, even sporting a lovely soaking tub. I'd say that's the way to "end the day", but in Buenos Aires, you end the day the following morning.

Your choice of accommodation and location is important because you'll surely need a siesta or two throughout the day. The Park Hyatt is well situated near frequently visited areas.

The service at the hotel was wonderful. I purchased quite a bit of wine to take back to the states and the concierge was extremely helpful in getting it packed securely so it would withstand getting thrown around between flights.

Breakfast and tea time were wonderful ways to relax at the hotel during times where you didn't want to stray far from the much needed bed from the non-stop action of running around the city.

I specially recommend having dinner at Duhau Restaurante and Vinoteca, simply amazing! I love this restaurant, it is an ultimate experience!!!!! It offers sophisticated Argentinean cuisine with contemporary style and flawless service. The hotel is amazing, the best in town by far. You should ask for a table in the terrace when you make the reservation. Specially nice during dinner, but during the day it is also beautiful. The steak is AWESOME and the cheese selection is the best in town.

The name says it all: this hotel is a palace in all senses of the word. I was almost intimidated walking in because of how grandiose the be-columned entrance was, but thankfully, the young receptionist who greeted me was anything but menacing. She kindly answered all of my questions and encouraged me to have a look around, even recommending I take a stroll through the gardens, the hotel’s pride and joy, she said. I especially loved the art gallery on the first floor, which displayed some of the late Eduardo Iglesias Brickles’ work. Another highlight was the spa, which looked like a lounge (complete with soft purple lighting, mist, and lights on the floor). And between the Duhau Restaurant, the Gioia Restaurant, and the Salones del Piano Nobile, guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to fine dining.

Palacio Duhau really makes you feel like royalty, and it also feels like you're sleeping in a contemporary art museum. The bedrooms are beautiful and have great views of the landscaped garden. It's the Recoleta neighborhood, which is famous for being posh, tourist friendly, and which is a cultural hub. Guests are usually greeted with a plate of fresh fruit or other interesting item upon checking into their room, and there are complimentary slippers and even shoe-shining supplies. Most rooms have a walk-in closet and both a shower and bath. There are three restaurants, and the architecture is both beautiful and a joy to walk around in. If you're appreciate architecture, you might never want to leave this hotel, which all staff refer to as simply, The Palace.

There’s no getting away from it. This hotel is spectacular! I spent time wandering around the inhouse art exhibitions along the Paseo de Arte (a long corridor of Argentine art exhibited in the hotel). I also enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens. The hotel is split into two separate buildings and the gardens are in the middle. It was one of the best cup of coffees I had in Buenos Aires, sat on the patio of the continental restaurant, overlooking the fresh, dark green of those gardens. Not all of the staff were that great. The concierge left a lot to be desired, but there were many staff members who knew everything about the history of the hotel and its various restorations. The cigar and cognac collection in the smoking room was incredible - Duhau has a special license to allow you to smoke indoors.

in my opinion this is the best hotel of Buenos Aires, very well located, close to Recoleta, Puerto Madero, Palermo, the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Rooms are big and comfortable, service is great, staff is very helpful. This is the place to stay.
