The hotel is grand and beautiful. And the location is absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that my room was quite small, and things would have been difficult had I been traveling with my family.

Great hotel with terrific service. Wonderful restaurant downstairs with very attentive waitstaff. Views from hotel room are awesome! Located right in the hub of Boston with just a short walk to Faniuel Hall. Great for business folks, rather upscale, but I saw quite a few families and even a school trip staying there.

Stayed at this place once and felt spooky! It's a historical hotel, if you like old things and history, check out the place.

Gorgeous and historic hotel that is meant to be haunted AND to have invented the brownie. So it's basically awesome; plus they have free wifi you can access in the lobby in case you're out and about and need to get online somewhere more relaxing than Starbucks.

The Omni Parker House, a hotel on the National Register of historic places, oozes old fashioned grandeur. Worth a look even if you can't afford an overnight stay, upon entry ou expect to enter and see men in suits puffing cigars and women in gowns smoking long cigarettes. Famous guests include John Wilkes Booth and JFK, while both Ho Chi Minh and Malcolm X worked there for spurts.

The Omni Parker House, famous for being the originators of the Boston Cream Pie, is a very nice high end hotel. It is a 5 star hotel but the average rooms are very small (almost cramped) so I can not give any more than 4 stars.

Staying here was really a mixture of experiences. What a grant classic old hotel in a prime location, yet then come the smaller rooms, strange hallways and such. It is really an interesting hotel showcasing the grandness from a previous era. The restaurant was OK and I'm glad I got to try the original Boston Creme pie.

The Omni Parker House is a historic hotel in the center of Boston. Walking into the lobby you get the overwhelming sense of faded glory - the lobby must have been a sight when the hotel first opened, but the dark wood paneling, the ornately gilded elevator doors and the fading carpets all showed signs of age. The rooms were nicely done in an antique decor, but were very small. The bathroom, in particular, was so tiny that there was no place to put my toilet kit when I needed to shave. That said, the bed was very comfortable. The closet was also very small - it was ok for just me but if there were 2 people I imagine it would be a bit challenging. They did offer pretty fast wi-fi (free if you are a member of Omni's frequent rewards club, $9.95 if not). Not an amazing experience, but it did the trick for a couple of days.

It just doesn't get more historic than this. The Omni Parker House (originally called Parker's) pioneered the idea of the luxury hotel and restaurant in an era when sleeping on the road often meant sharing a bed with a stranger at a tavern. Try the Boston Creme Pie; it was invented here. Walk right out the door into historic downtown Boston.

The oldest hotel in Boston. Comfortable beds. Nice service. Very traditional. Close to many tourist attractions such as Quincy Market, Boston Common and the Freedom Trail. 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Food in the hotel bar is very good. Home of the "Parker house" roll and creator of the Boston creme pie. Nice treats for kids. Family friendly.

This is a great, historic hotel in a nice section of town. You can't go wrong to stay here.

Birthplace of the Boston cream pie! Well, it didn't quite live up to the excitement, as the pie was tasty but not spectacular. The hotel itself is upscale and elegant.

Service was fantastic. The concierges gave personal restaurant recommendations and helped us book red six tickets. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Location was right on freedom trail, so you can't get lost, if you've never been there. Skip the Boston cream pie, though.

Omni Parker House does not disappoint. Stayed here when I was a kid. My favorite part? Ordering Boston Cream Pie for breakfast. Omni Parker House was the first place the dessert was ever made.

If creepy, haunted and eerie feeling is your thing, this is your place to stay.

I honestly want to say that I wish I had the guts to stay here, but in the end I only had the guts to visit, and not even the infamous 3rd floor closet. This place is haunted. Sort of ... it's an expensive hotel that is high in class and was the center piece of many important figures whose pictures line the hall ways whose opulent feel you can almost drown in just by stepping into the lobby.

The bar is pretty eerie as well, dimly lit in the after hours, I feel like they are milking this ghost thing and really trying to bring out the creeps in those who can be easily creeped out (me).

It's definitely dead-on what I love about Boston. The whole historic meets new age is fascinating in how places such as the Omni Parker transformed over the years from the days before elevators existed to the room that had to be converted to a closet due to guests complaints. I think Ghost Hunters came here once and verified some activities but ... eeks.

On the plus side, it's smack down Freedom Trail tour so you can get a great look without going inside for a creepy drink and it's quite close to all the delicious food that's review worthy Boston has to offer.
