Most of the museum exhibits Buddhist sculptures and statues that have been retrieved from other countries around the world to be brought back home. There are two themes to the museum, bronze and stone carvings. Most of the statues were bought on auction to be returned to China, which I think is nice. There are no souvenirs or shops in the museum; it’s just a place showcasing Chinese art and history with no other intentions. The collection is small, but the museum is a hidden gem nonetheless. There are many examples of work from the Shang Dynasty with various bronze pieces. It’s truly fascinating and worth a visit.
