Bandung Vacations

Bandung is a hidden gem of a city, that is cradled in the somewhat fiery arms of a number of nearby volcanoes. The area itself is situated some seven hundred and fifty feet above sea-level, and besides eco-adventures to the outlying jungle covered cliffs for the adventurous, this city is home to some of the most diverse and plentiful Sundanese art ... to be found anywhere. The unique art and architecture shows itself at every corner, with temples and statues found throughout the region. It is sometimes called the Paris of Java, thanks to it's similarities to a colonial-era version of the culturally overflowing French city. The arts are certainly thriving, but the growing infrastructure has a bit of a hard time supporting the many tourists and locals alike, as traffic and pollution are an ongoing problem. Still, the unique geography makes this area much more endurable in terms of climate compared to the sweltering lo-lying areas, and tourists will appreciate the diverse cuisine and art as visitors to this thriving Indonesian city.

visit is during Java’s dry season (May to September); however, even this time of the year is no stranger to the occasional rainstorm. The weather tends to be most optimal in May, June and September when it’s dry and not as humid. However, if you’re looking for deals and a less crowded vaycay, visit during Java’s rainy season (November to March). Unlike other Southeast Asian countries, Java doesn’t get pounded too hard by monsoonal downpours; instead, expect a couple hours of rain in the late afternoon.

Bandung has dominated the domestic tourism destination in Indonesia for decades. People come and make the crowd especially on holidays and weekends for all purposes; fashion, culinary, history, relaxation, shopping, and many other enjoyable activities. It's a city to few top universities in Indonesia, which makes it's more colorful. What's more important, Bandung homes to Indonesia's prominent politicians, scientists, historians, artists, and many other public figures. In other words, Bandung is a lovely city that has plenty interesting things to offer.

Place you need to visit while in Bandung is their "sawah padi" farm. Not to far from "kawah putih" just nearby.

Lovely city in mountains area, actually very big as well, lots of factory outlet, trekking opportunities. Nice place to get away from Jakarta, but avoid week ends as the traffic is ridiculous.

Bandung used to be a charming city a few years ago until all these factory outlets sprung out all over the city, as a result of which it became too crowded on weekends. There are however still a few interesting places to visit around Bandung such as Tangkuban Perahu, Lembang etc - if you want to avoid those weekenders from Jakarta.

hi all WILUJEUNG SUMPPING KA KOTA BANDUNG/ welcome to Bandung west java island off Indonesia. The main part of Bandung lies to the south of the railway line that crosses the city from east to west. Most of the banks, airlines, tourist offices and 5 star hotels are located here, along with the alun alun, as the main square in Indonesian cities is called. The principal thoroughfare, Jalan Asia Afrika, is in this part of town, as is Jalan Braga, which was the up-market shopping area in colonial times and is now the centre of Bandung’s nightlife. Most of the city’s budget accommodation and any many of its huge shopping malls are also in this area. On the other side of the railway are the elegant residential areas of the Old Dutch suburbs with their wide tree lined streets, gardens and parks. The urban area stretches north along two parallel arterial roads, Jalan Setiabudi and Jalan Juanda, to the hills of Dago. The offices of the West Java provincial government, the Bandung Institute of Technology and the zoo are located in this area.for information tour packages and car rental you can asking me.
