Description
An entertaining dolphin show, “4-D Immersion” sensory theatre, and (of course) lots and lots of marine creatures are just some of the awesome things you can see at the National Aquarium.

This is one of my favorite aquarium's in the country! Great to bring the whole family to and to see marine life you can't see at a traditional aquarium.

Amazing aquarium that took me by surprise as I'm use to the Long Beach one in California which isn't so great. This by far was the best aquarium I've been to thus far. Great for all ages and you can easily spend half a day here.

Admission is $40 for adults but if you're a local resident of Baltimore, you can get a discounted price. There's a unique jelly fish exhibit as well as a dolphin show. Parts of the acquarium is indoor and the other part is outdoors - birds, monkeys, etc.

A bit expensive for the experience but still recommend, especially if you have kids. Wish I would've stayed for the dolphin show but didn't want to stick around for another hour. Very cool jellyfish exhibit.

Awesome for kids. Nice dolphin show and my son was amazed by the huuuuge sea turtle. It's not cheap but will keep kids occupied for a few hours.

Grew up here in local area. Always found the Aquarium to be a fun family time. The inner harbor as a whole is a great day trip.

Eh. Depends what your into. Definitely a fun place for kids, they were seriously amazed by the fish. Wish it was a little less crowded maybe I would've enjoyed it more.

I hadn't been to the National Aquarium for over 20 years and it has changed a lot of course. It was expensive I thought, but I was glad I went. It had some interesting exhibits, but I missed what I remembered most about it long ago- the 3 story room of glass tanks where you saw the big fish swimming. The only place I saw dolphins was found Sea World type tricks in a show.

Went recently this weekend and it was a fun time. It was definitely crowded since it was a Saturday, so perhaps go on weekday. Other than the congestion, seeing the dolphins, touching jellyfish, and taking it all in was great

Again, not a big fan of zoos and aquariums in general, but I will say, I was impressed when this facility got rid of the live dolphin shows. The experience is very informative with some hands-on experience as well.

I've been to a lot of aquariums, including the one in Atlanta, and this one ranks up there with the best. They have great exhibits and tons of fish and other marine life. The jellyfish display is amazing, especially the ones that are in dark rooms so you can see the phosphorescent. Of course, the rainforest section is everybody's favorite- it's at the top of the aquarium and is a lush, green filled room that you can stroll through. They have lots of birds, turtles, even a sloth. Coming back down you get to check out the shark and fish display. Prices are high, but they often have coupons or deals so be on the lookout. A great place to spend the day.

Overpriced now, unfortunately. But they have discounts for students and at odd hours. Go for those!

Definitely one of THE best aquariums in the entire US. A must to go, so GO. What makes it better is it's location on the charming inner harbor.

Two words: baby sloths! Okay, sometimes you can't see the sloths but when you can it's so worth it. I've also had great encounters with tamarind monkeys too in their rain forest exhibit. This is one of the best aquariums in the country and I've been to most of the big ones. The shark exhibit is really cool as you spiral downward to the ground. They also have a huge three finned turtle who is a pretty chill dude. If you're a Baltimore resident, I recommend becoming a member. It pays off in three visits plus you get free access to member only nights.

I've only visited as a child, but the National Aquarium has a reputation of being one of the best in the country.

After Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, I've always been a sucker for aquariums and Baltimore's Nation Aquarium is totally legit. Located in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the Aquarium is a fantastic place to take the whole family. Hopefully, you tire your kids out and you can have some adult fun in the Inner Harbor later that night.
