Departing from Zürich Airport (ZRH)
Located 13 kilometres north of Zürich’s city centre, Zürich Airport (ZRH) is Switzerland’s largest International airport. The structure is divided into three terminals and three runways. Terminal A is for all domestic flights inside of Switzerland as well as flights in the Schengen Area – 26 European states that have dropped tight border control and passport requirements for easy travel. Terminal B handles some Schengen and non-Schengen flights. And Terminal E is specifically for non-Schengen travel needs. Zürich Airport offers just shy of 200 flights to 62 countries worldwide. Major airlines include AirCanada, Delta Airlines, Finnair, and United Airlines. ZRH is also a permanent hub for SWISS Airlines. Be sure to arrive around two hours prior to departure.
Zürich Airport offers free WIFI to their guests for up to two hours. Sports Equipment Rentals can be secured at the Service Center at the multi-storey car park 2. The fitness centre at Radisson Blu Hotel, Airport Center lets passengers burn off some energy inside while waiting for their flight.
