Flight Information

There are a number of direct daily flights to Kelowna from Vancouver offered by Air Canada and WestJet. There are also some non-direct routes with connecting flights in Victoria, and these options are offered by Air Canada, Pacific Coastal Airlines, and WestJet.

There are even some two-layover flight options offered by WestJet, with the first stop in Victoria before another stop in Calgary before a final flight to Kelowna.

Terminal Information for Vancouver International Airport

Passengers departing on flights from Vancouver to Kelowna will be required to check in and depart from the Domestic Terminal. This terminal has a total of three concourses, and the specific one that passengers depart from depends on the airline. Free high-speed Wi-Fi internet is available.

Hourly, daily, and weekly parking coupons are available at Vancouver Airport's parking lots. Passengers can also arrive from downtown Vancouver via The Canada Line rail link service or the N10 night bus route.

Shopping choices at the Domestic Terminal in Vancouver International are not as comprehensive as those available for passengers traveling on international flights, but there are enough restaurants to fill up before a flight, like Green Bean Cafe near Gate B14 or Vera's Burger Shack near Gate C43. Since this is a domestic flight route, passengers should aim to arrive at Vancouver International Airport two hours in advance of their departure time.

Terminal Information for Kelowna International Airport

Kelowna is a relatively small airport by international standards, and all flights arrive at the main terminal building. There are just three bag carousels in Kelowna Airport, which makes retrieving checked luggage a stress-free, quick experience. Public transport options at Kelowna are sparse compared to other international airports, although a bus service is available, which runs on weekdays until 6:30 p.m.

Car rental options are plentiful at Kelowna, but for passengers who can't or don't want to hire a car, a number of private shuttle buses, taxis, and limousines are available to take them into downtown Kelowna or beyond.

What You Need to Know
