We visited in the off-season and while it was a nice little beach town, it's certainly not my favorite. We found ourselves a decent, inexpensive accommodation off the beach, but most of the cafes on the beach were overpriced. Something to note, after the tsumani, many villagers were given sewing machines, so the custom tailoring business has started to bloom.
