Fantastic Promenade 7 kilometres long with beautiful award winning, golden sandy beaches, watersports, paddle boats and absolutely hundreds of probably the best restaurants and cafes on the Costa del Sol! A great place to eat with so much choice! The town also has attractions such as Mijas Aqua Park (cheaper than the larger one at Torremolinos) and Fuengirola Bioparc Zoo (award winning zoo and open late into night in Summer months!).
Fuengirola is a perfect little Village for Beach Holidays, good Mediterranean Food and 8Km of Promenade for walk.
I agree that Seville and Granada are great cultural locations in Spain, but it really depends how much of Andalucia you would like to see. If you have in mind to see Seville, Granada and Cordoba, Rhonda then a more centrally located base would be convenient, in either Marbella, Fuengirola or Malaga as the hub of your tour. Otherwise I suggest that you split up your stay, a few days in Seville, a few days in Granada. Andalucia is amazing! Go and enjoy!
