How to Get Cheap Hotels in Luxembourg and Last Minute Hotel Deals

Getting the perfect hotel at a great price is something we all strive for. As with all travel, you’re likely to find a good price on a hotel in Luxembourg if you book far enough in advance, but a lot of hotels also offer great last minute deals in Luxembourg. When there are beds left to fill, prices are often cut to attract last-minute deal hunters and spontaneous travellers who have the freedom and ability to visit Luxembourg at the last-minute. You might not get your first choice of hotels in Luxembourg, but you are likely to get more for your money. We don’t recommend you wait until the last-minute during peak seasons and when there are events taking place in Luxembourg though, as it is likely that accommodation will fill up early – and you don’t want to be left without a bed!

A gorgeous city and one of Europe's most dramatically situated, Luxembourg City makes a nice stop in between the cities of Belgium and the German wine country. Plus, you get the novelty of visiting one of Europe's smallest state. But understand that the country, The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is more than just Luxembourg City. Although its capital city makes for a great introduction. Luxembourg has a long history and the city has been one of the most-fortified on the continent. One of the most enjoyable things to do in Luxembourg is simply walking along the Corniche to view both the upper and lower towns. Pick up the excellent-value Luxembourg card which allows entry to all museums and onto all public transportation throughout the whole of the Grand Duchy. If you have only a few hours, the Tourist information Center distributes fee maps and a recommended two-hour self-guided city walk.

Picturesque and serene. Luxembourg lies in a very beautiful river valley which can make for some spectacular pictures. However, it is pretty small, and doesn't have a whole lot to do. It is really ideal for a day visit.

A pretty odd spot. I had a both warm and fun times, and some really disconcerting negative experiences here in just a few days. There is a lot of history and european grandeur built into the structure of Luxembourg - litterally. There are some seriously old walls and structures here. It is beautiful. The efforts to regain the Luxembourgish language is interesting as well. The food is fantastic, a great confluence of the neighboring countries. There are some fun bars here as well. This would be a great place to be rich.
